DJI Osmo Pocket 4P Pearl White: price, release date and what's actually different
The Osmo Pocket 4P now comes in Pearl White, with white accessories in the box. Same specs and price as the black one. Where to buy it and what to know first.
Leaks point to a 1/1.1-inch square sensor, 192.7 g and an RC Mini remote for the DJI Neo 3. What's confirmed, what isn't, and when it could launch.
DJI hasn’t announced the Neo 3, but it has leaked almost completely. A spec sheet points to a 1/1.1-inch square sensor, the same type as in the Osmo Action 6, with native vertical shooting and 2x lossless zoom. A registration listing puts the weight at 192.7 g, 28% more than the Neo 2. Boxed units are already in testers’ hands, and there’s still no price and no launch date.
Here’s every leak so far, where each one comes from, and how much weight we’d give it.
Most of the hard numbers come from one printed marketing sheet that leaker Igor Bogdanov posted on 1 October. Video owners and dealers have filled in the rest.

The same sheet mentions high-speed ActiveTrack with automatic camera moves, SelfieShot 2.0, gesture control with one hand and faster start-up and file transfer. A Portuguese drone account also captioned a video with 4K/30 vertical recording and O4 transmission up to 10 km, but no document backs those two up yet.
Big, if the sheet is right. A 1/2-inch sensor is about 6.4 × 4.8 mm. A square 1/1.1-inch sensor works out at roughly 10.3 × 10.3 mm, about three and a half times the area. Those are approximate sizes from the optical format names, not measured dimensions, but the order of magnitude is what matters.
In practice that should mean cleaner footage when the light drops, which has been the weak spot of every tiny DJI drone. The square shape matters just as much. It lets you shoot vertical without cropping a horizontal frame, the same trick DJI used on the Osmo Action 6, which is handy if most of what you deliver ends up on Reels and TikTok.
A bigger sensor needs a bigger gimbal and more power, so the extra 42 g isn’t a surprise. The listing that showed it, posted on 21 September, gives 192.7 g as both empty weight and maximum take-off weight under the model number DEN326.
The number to watch is 250 g. That’s the line under which many countries, the EU included, apply the lightest drone rules. At 192.7 g the Neo 3 would still sit comfortably below it. Check your own country’s rules before flying anyway, especially in towns and near people.
More than usual. This isn’t just a rumour on a forum:
Boxes filmed so far carry “Not For Sale” stickers, which usually means review and dealer units under embargo.
Nobody outside DJI knows. Notebookcheck reports the launch slipped from September to October or November. Jasper Ellens of DroneXL guessed about six weeks after the unboxing leak, which points to mid or late November, and calls it an informed guess, not a date.
No price has leaked. Figures floating around YouTube for “the Neo 3” tend to be the original Neo’s prices or made up. When DJI announces it, this article gets updated.
For US buyers, the outlook is poor. The RC Mini remote got its FCC grant in December 2025, but the drone itself has none, and the FCC added foreign-made drones to its Covered List on 22 December 2025. The Neo 2 went the same way and never launched in the US.
If you want a tiny drone for selfie shots, walks and travel clips and you need it this month, the Neo 2 does that job today. If image quality in less than perfect light is what’s held you back, or you shoot mostly vertical, we’d wait: the sensor is the single biggest change DJI could make to this kind of drone, and the leaks say it’s coming within weeks.
Whatever you shoot on, the vertical-first approach is spreading. The Osmo Pocket 4P gets you a 1-inch sensor on the ground, and if you edit in Resolve, the 21.1.2 update added graphics templates that adapt to a 9:16 timeline.
No. As of 27 October 2026 DJI hasn’t announced or confirmed the Neo 3. Everything known comes from leaked boxes, a spec sheet, a registration listing and videos from testers.
A leaked marketing sheet lists a 1/1.1-inch square sensor, the same type as in the Osmo Action 6. The Neo 2 uses a 12MP 1/2-inch sensor.
A registration listing gives 192.7 g, against 151 g for the Neo 2. That’s still under the 250 g threshold used by many drone rules.
There’s no official date. Leak watchers expect a launch around mid to late November 2026, but that’s a guess based on retail units already being in testers’ hands.
Very unlikely through DJI. The drone has no FCC authorisation and foreign-made drones were added to the FCC Covered List in December 2025. The Neo 2 never launched in the US either.
